Green Chili Lime Pulled Pork

GREEN CHILI LIME PULLED PORK

Whether you are eating it on tacos, with eggs, or by itself… this pork recipe will be your all-time favorite. It’s fresh and zesty and full of flavor, this pork will be falling apart- in a good way.  

PREP — 1.5 hours    COOK — 2 Hours    

TOTAL —3.5 Hours  SERVINGS — Six

ingredients

• Pork Shoulder (Pork Butt)

•  ¼ Cup Schultz’s Gourmet Premium Seasoning & Rub

•  14oz Schultz’s Green Chili Lime Cooking Hot Sauce

•  Cilantro Lime Coleslaw

directions

1. Preheat oven to 330 ºF

2. Apply Schultz’s Gourmet Premium Seasoning & Rub liberally to the pork shoulder.

3. Wrap tightly in heavy duty aluminum foil twice keeping the folds on top.

4.  Place in oven at 330 ºF for 3.5 – 4 hours (or slow cook in a smoker/grill)

5. Carefully remove and drain juices into a grease separator for later use.  

6. Allow meat to rest for 30 minutes.

7. Trim and discard fat.

8. Using two forks or hands, begin shredding the meat and put into a 2” deep baking dish that can go back into the oven.

9. • Take the separated juices from the meat and stir and add to meat and hot sauce.

10. Place back into oven at 250 °F stirring well while reheating for 20-30 minutes

11. Serve on hearty buns as a sandwich with Cilantro Lime Coleslaw.

Smoked Ribs

SMOKED RIBS

This rib recipe is smoky, delicious and good with all four of our BBQ Sauces! 

PREP — 1.5 hours    COOK — 2 Hours    

TOTAL —3.5 Hours  SERVINGS — Six

ingredients

• 8 lbs Pork loin baby back ribs

•  5-10 tbsp. of Schultz’s Gourmet Premium Seasoning & Rub

•  12oz Schultz’s Sweet Hickory, Spicy Mesquite, Original or Tangy Mustard BBQ Sauce

•  Apple wood chips

•  Hickory wood chips

directions

1. Soak wood chips for at least an hour before using.

2. Let the ribs come up to room temperature, rinse off in cold water and remove the silver membrane from the back.

3. Season ribs with Schultz’s Gourmet Premium Seasoning & Rub over the entire surface of the ribs.

4.  Use your smoker or follow these directions for your Weber Grill: in the grill, make two small piles of briquettes on opposite side of the grill. Once charcoals have thin layer white ash on them, add your wood chips.

5. After the wood is smoking, place ribs in between charcoal piles on cooking grate. 

6. Smoking temperature should be about 225°F.

7. After smoking for 2 hrs. brush Sweet Heat on ribs and continue smoking for another 30 minutes.

CAMP STYLE POTATOES

This colorful dish has tons of fresh veggies and even more flavor! 

PREP — 20 Minutes    COOK — 25 Minutes    TOTAL —45 Minutes  SERVINGS — Six

ingredients

• 4 large Russet potatoes (washed)

•  3 tbsp. of Schultz’s Gourmet Premium Seasoning &Rub

•  2 tbsp. of extra virgin olive oil

•  • 1 tbsp. Grated Parmesan Cheese

•  2 Cups Yellow Onions, Green and Red Bell Peppers (optional)

directions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F

2. Cut potatoes into 1” (bite size) cubes.

3. In a large bowl, mix chopped potatoes, Schultz’s Gourmet Premium Seasoning & Rub, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

4. Place potato mixture on a baking sheet with parchment paper and place in preheated oven.

5. Cook potatoes for 25minutes or until tender. 

6. Once potatoes are finished, sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.

7. Serve with Schultz’s Gourmet Over Easy Eggs, Smothered Breakfast Burrito or our Smokehouse Burger!

8.  ***You can also add yellow onions, green and red bell peppers to this recipe!!!***

TEQUILA LIME WINGS

Tequila…Lime…Sweet Heat… this recipe has it all. 

PREP — 5 Minutes    COOK — 25 Minutes    TOTAL —30 Minutes  SERVINGS — Five

ingredients

•  5 lbs. of fresh chicken wings

•  3 tbsp. of Schultz’s Gourmet Premium Seasoning & Rub

• 8-10 oz. of Schultz’s Gourmet Sweet Heat Hot Sauce

•  2oz Gold Tequila

•  3tbsp fresh lime juice (equivalent to 1 whole lime)

•  Pinch coarse sea salt

•  Pinch coarse black pepper

directions

1. Season raw chicken wings with Schultz’s Gourmet Premium Seasoning & Rub then place on grill.

2. Grill chicken until golden brown (internal temperature 165ºF).

3. To avoid burning the chicken, constantly flip chicken and cook evenly on both sides. Once chicken is finished, remove from heat.

4. Warm Schultz’s Gourmet Sweet Heat Hot Sauce in a medium to large pot and do not boil the sauce.  

5. Once sauce is warm, add tequila and lime juice and stir.  

6. Continue cooking sauce for 5 minutes. 

7. Add the cooked wings directly from the grill into the pot with the hot sauce mixture. 

7. Stir well then sprinkle Course Sea Salt and Coarse Black Pepper on top of wings then serve. 

8. Enjoy!

Spicy Potato Salad

Spicy Potato Salad

SPICY POTATO SALAD

Cool and creamy.. saucy and spicy… it’s unlike any potato salad you’ve ever had. 

PREP — 15 Minutes    COOK — 25 Minutes    TOTAL —40 Minutes  SERVINGS — Six

ingredients

•  8-12 medium boiled red potatoes

•  • 1.5 – 2 cups Mayonnaise

•  4-6 oz. (to taste) of Schultz’s Gourmet Spicy Original Hot Sauce

•  8-10 oz. of Blue Cheese (or substitute with Feta Cheese)

•  3⁄4 lb. of bacon (cook then finely chop)

•  1⁄2 small red onion diced finely

•  4-6 green onions diced finely

•  1 tbsp. dry parsley

•  1 tbsp. black pepper

•  • 1 tsp salt or to taste

directions

1. Peel half of the amount of potatoes and leave the skin on the other half.

2. Pre-mix Schultz’s Gourmet Spicy Original Hot Sauce and mayonnaise before adding to balance of ingredients to ensure it’s the right amount of heat. 

3. Dice cooked potatoes into chuck size pieces and add to large mixing bowl.

4. Add cooked and crumbled bacon, crumbled blue cheese, blended mayonnaise/Schultz’s Gourmet Spicy Original Hot Sauce.  

5. Toss until blended and then add onions and balance of seasonings.  

6. Add more hot sauce until desired consistency is reached (to ensure creamy potato salad, mash 1⁄3 of the potatoes and stir vigorously). 

7. Chill then serve with Schultz’s Gourmet Smokehouse Burgers, Grilled Chicken Thighs or Marinated Tri-Tip

Sweet Heat Salmon

Sweet Heat Glazed Salmon

SWEET HEAT GLAZED SALMON

You’ll think you’ve died and gone to heaven when you taste this succulent, sweet, and spicy salmon dish. 

PREP — 5 Minutes    COOK — 10 Minutes    TOTAL —15 Minutes  SERVINGS — Six

ingredients

•  1.5-2 lb Salmon Filet or Steaks

•  3-4 Tbsp Schultz’s Sweet Heat Cooking Hot Sauce

•  2 Tbsp Schultz’s Gourmet Premium Seasoning and Rub

directions

1. Season salmon with Schultz’s Premium Seasoning & Rub

2. Place salmon on the grill indirectly over high heat. 

3. Cook 3-5 minutes each side (depending on thickness).

4. When the flakes of salmon begin to spread (a few minutes before it’s finished) brush Schultz’s Gourmet Sweet Heat Cooking Hot Sauce on top of the salmon and close the lid of the grill. 

5. Allow the Sweet Heat to caramelize slightly on the grill. It will begin to glaze over the filet. 

6. Place on platter and drizzle remaining Sweet Heat over the fish. Serve with wild rice, asparagus, bread or salad. 

7. Enjoy!
